Climate
Composed of multiple islands in the west coast, Shinan area is located in the far west and south. Due to the influence of maritime climate during summer, and continental climate during winter, it has seasonal changes from summer to winter rather than clear temperature changes of 4 seasons. It is an important outpost for the generation/movement of meteorological phenomenon of Korea which is applicable to the westerlies area.
